Prototyping is a key step in turning a vision into reality. Done right, prototypes help you think through your idea, get valuable feedback and shorten your development time. Take this free course to learn from the experts and to advance on your own project with selected tools and resources!
Prototyping is an important and early part of the design process. There are different ways to prototype different things, but all share the goal of faster learning.
Learnings from your prototypes are either carried into further development or further iterated prototypes; we'll cover this, including prototyping directly in code – even for non-coders!
As a part of this course, you'll have free access to tools that enable you to quickly and easily create interactive, clickable prototypes for web and mobile products.
The prototype is a learning tool, and in order to learn you have to gather feedback in the right contexts from the right people and analyze it effectively.
All participants will get and give feedback on their work and the work of others. Expect to have a cool, interactive prototype with real feedback by the end of course!
The course will be based on video lectures, both live and already existing video material curated from across the web. Our live video lectures will include real-time audience participation and feedback, but the course can also be taken without joining the live sessions. Sign up above and we'll let you know more before the course begins in February.
Course participants get access to FileSquare, a web application for creating interactive mockups and prototypes and gathering feedback. The course is arranged by the team behind Vuact, a video platform for discovery and engagement. For any questions, hit Vuact up on Twitter.
